Berkeley Castle

Our wedding will take place at Berkeley Castle, a stunning medieval fortress that has been home to the Berkeley family for over 900 years. This remarkable castle combines history with elegance: wander the atmospheric rooms, explore the majestic gardens, and soak up breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside.

There will be a tour of the Castle and its history during the drinks reception.

Fun fact: The Castle is the oldest building in the country to be inhabited by the same family who built it!

• Dr Jenner’s House, Museum & Garden
  The former home of Edward Jenner, pioneer of the smallpox vaccine. A small but fascinating museum just a short walk from the castle.
• Berkeley Deer Park & Riverside Walks
  Open parkland on the edge of town, home to deer and wide views across the Severn Vale. A gentle, flat walk that’s perfect for a relaxed morning or afternoon wander.
