Saturday 18th July 2026 - Berkeley Castle

Frequently Asked Questions

What time should I arrive?

Please arrive at the church at 12:30 to ensure you are seated in time before the ceremony.

What's the dress code?

Summer smart. Dresses and elegant tailoring are encouraged.

Gents: Suits are welcome but not required — blazers with smart trousers or chinos are absolutely fine. Ties are optional.

Ladies: Hats are not required but some family members may be wearing them. We suggest opting for blocks, wedges, or flats over stiletto heels, as the drinks reception involves navigating some steps and a gravel path.

How do I get from the ceremony to the reception?

No map required! The reception is right next door — just follow the party people.

Is there parking available?

Yes, parking is available in the main castle car park. Full details can be found on the Logistics page.

Do you have a gift registry?

Your presence is more than enough - truly.

If you wish, a small contribution towards our honeymoon would be appreciated. A card box will be available at the drinks reception, or digital transfer is also welcome if easier.

What happens if it rains?

Rain won’t stop the fun - the drinks reception can be held indoors, and the wedding breakfast and dancing are all planned inside.

What if I need a break from dancing?

There will be plenty of seating around the dance floor and in the long and small drawing rooms.

Who should I contact if I have questions on the day?

Please speak to one of our ushers or members of the wedding party — they’ll be happy to help.
