Saturday 18th July 2026 - Berkeley Castle
We’re so excited to welcome you to Berkeley for the weekend. Below you’ll find everything you need to plan your trip — including ceremony and reception details, accommodation options, and transport information.
The ceremony will take place at St Mary’s Church, Berkeley. Guests should aim to arrive at 12:30pm and be seated by 12:45pm, with the ceremony starting at 1:00pm.
There is a loo inside the church.
Following the ceremony, guests will make their way to the Lily Pond inside the Berkeley Castle grounds for drinks and the wedding reception. It's just a short walk from the church to the castle — you can’t miss it!
For those joining us on Friday, the evening meal will be at The Kitchen Garden in Berkeley from 6:00pm. Parking is available in the main castle car park — please see the Driving & Parking section below.
The Friday evening will be self-funded. We’ve pre-ordered paella and tapas to simplify ordering.
A small number of guests will be staying in private on-site houses during the wedding weekend. If you are one of these guests, you will have received a separate message from us with details.
Please enter your name to see house information.
There are two on-site houses: Salt House (sleeps 14) and Brook House (sleeps 18). Your house and room will be assigned closer to the wedding date.
You can find more information, pictures etc. about the houses below but please ignore the check-in times on the linked pages.

Check-in from 12pm on Friday. There is no specific checkout time on Sunday. Please ignore the check-in times on the linked pages.
Both houses are less than a 5-minute walk to the church and castle.
We have a number of parking spaces outside Salt House. You're welcome to park there but let us know so we can manage spaces. Those staying in Brook House can also park near Salt House. There is plenty of parking available in the main castle car park if needed.
We plan to do a Sainsbury's (obviously) order in advance and will reach out with requests nearer the time.
Andra is an actuary, of course not, it would be against the Actuaries Code. Nick on the other hand...
Below are the main ways to get to Berkeley, whether you’re coming by train, taxi, or driving yourself.
If you’re travelling from London, there are two main train routes to consider. Both will require a short taxi journey at the end.
Berkeley Castle has free on-site parking for wedding guests. From the M5, use junction 13 or 14 and follow local signage.
If you're driving yourself, you can use the Berkeley Castle Visitor Car Park to the north of the castle, off Canonbury Street. A member of staff will be at the cut-through gate to St Mary’s Church to guide guests.
Parking will be clearly signposted on the day, and no permit or pre-booking is required.
